A dynamic and progressive philanthropic organization, our mission is to assist in the advancement of the Carolinas HealthCare System (CHS) family. Since 1959, the Foundation has worked with CHS to provide the finest in healthcare  facilities, programs, and services for the people of the Carolinas.

Through a wide array of philanthropic activities, the Foundation works closely with CHS in support of new health care programs and services, medical technologies, research, education and facilities. Our experience shows that philanthropy is often the difference between good and excellent health care. In many cases philanthropy is the measure of difference in the very existence of a program or service. We are proud to be a part of a community that recognizes opportunities for growth and readily supports our philanthropic efforts.
