The event benefits cardiovascular rehabilitation programs at Sanger Heart and Vascular Institute as well as the Heart of a Champion Day – a unique partnership between Charlotte- Mecklenburg Schools and Carolinas Medical Center providing cardiac, orthopedic and general medical exams to high school athletes free of charge.
